What is Gifthy.io?

Gifthy.io is an app that enables merchants to sell their products as an emotional e-gifting experience, allowing them to boost sales and unlock insights that were not possible before.

The problem with buying any of your products as a gift is that users usually don’t know the recipient’s size or color preference. They purchase gifts from different locations and wish to ship them directly to the recipient but do not know the exact address. Additionally, most of them are last-minute buyers, so it’s almost impossible to fulfill this expectation through eCommerce unless you sell gift cards. However, the problem with gift cards is that users considered them too impersonal. So, what can I do to sell more gifts?

Gifthy.io - How does it work?

1. Install our app, and we will enable a ‘Buy as a gift button’ on your product page. Don’t worry; you will get to customize it.
2. When the gift-buyer clicks on it, a pop-up will appear, and he will get to record or upload a video for the gift-recipient directly from your store.
3. He gets to choose how to digital deliver the gift (Ex. Facebook, Email).
4. We add the product to the cart, so he continues to the checkout and pays. (Note: he didn’t pick a size/color nor input shipping information.)
5. The gift-recipient receives a beautiful surprise as a landing page where she will watch the video and see the gift. Now, she can choose her size and color preference and give her shipping information.
6. If she prefers a different gift, then she can click on ‘get a redeemable gift code’ to automatically get a discount code for the full gift amount to use it on your store.
