Shown Connector

The Shown Connector is a tool designed to establish a link between your WordPress website or WooCommerce store and Shown.
This connection facilitates the setup of the Shown pixel in your store as well as the synchronization of products and customers from WooCommerce with your Shown account.

Shown pixel usage:

The Shown Pixel operates similarly to Google Tag Manager, but with support for multiple platforms.
When users create a custom conversion or import it from Google Ads, Facebook Ads or any other channel, the Shown Pixel injects the corresponding Google Analytics tag or Facebook Pixel.
These pixels are used by these third-party platforms to optimize Shown ad campaigns. Additionally, users have the ability to monitor ad performance directly through their account on the ad platforms.
It is important to note that we do not store any metrics on our servers, ensuring end-user data privacy and compliance.

Product Synchronization & Usage:

The store owner decides which items to synchronize with Shown, having the choice to either sync all products at once
or sync individual products upon their creation. These synchronized items are exclusively utilized by the WooCommerce store owner
for conducting shopping campaigns on Google Ads, Facebook Ads or any other channel chosen by him.

Customer Synchronization & Usage:

The store owner selects which customers to synchronize with Shown, with the options to either sync all customers at once
or sync individual customers as new orders are placed. These synchronized customers are exclusively used by the WooCommerce store owner
for retargeting and creating lookalike campaigns on Google Ads, Facebook Ads, or other platforms supporteed by Shown.

Conversion Tracking:

The Shown Connector allows the store owner to track conversions on their WooCommerce store if they decide so, to optimize their ad campaigns on Shown.
Supported conversions as of today are:
– Purchase completed
– Add to cart
