Here is an example. I have lots of different sized products to send around the country. Depending on the weight of all the products and where they are going, I need to calculate the shipping. This calculator will add up the weights in the shopping cart, then check the postcode in the checkout and work out the shipping.

Need an even simpler example? Johnny has an apple that is 100g and a banana that is 200g in his cart. Need to ship 300g to your city Johnny? No problem, so long as your postcode has been added to a zone you will be getting your banana in no time.
